Chris O'Brien

Chris O'Brien moved to Boston nine years ago from Pa, leaving behind the Happy Valley of Penn State to make it in the big city. He spent most of his working time dealing with computers, and is currently working as a help desk tech. Much of his spare time is spent painting his various armies, but he still finds time for dancing (his other main passion), working out at the gym, and general carousing with his black-clad friends.

1) How many years have you been playing WHFB?
Ten years now.

2) What armies do you play?
I currently play Dark Elves, Empire, High Elves, and Skaven. I'm learning to play Vampire Counts, and toying with Ogre Kingdoms. I've played Chaos Dwarves and Lizardmen in the past.

3) What is your beverage of choice?

4) Who is your WHFB nemesis?
Doug Crouch. No one can make my dice up and revolt like he can.

5) Favorite quote?
"Crikey!" (soon to be replaced by "PANTS!")

6) What is the army that you least like to face?
Southland skinks. Most of my armies aren't well suited to skirmishers.

7) Favorite band of the 80s/90s/00s?
Skinny Puppy

8) What is your favorite place to eat on Moody St.?
Asian Grill. My favorite dish? Pineapple fried rice!

9) What army would you like to own next?
Ogre Kingdoms or Lizardmen.

10) Most notorious WHFB moment?
There are so many, but I'll go with fighting Rob K from the Warmongers at the 2005 Baltimore GT. about three turns into the game, I started failing every single break, panic, and rally check in the game. I laughed outrageously at my ill luck, and Rob couldn't believe how badly I was rolling. It's the most fun I've ever had losing.
